Meet Chris Koopmans – a seasoned Mentor and a Registered Mediator for Civil Neutral, Domestic Relations and Probate issues through the State of Georgia Supreme Court. Chris draws upon her three decades of experience in Academics, Hospitality, Management, Tutoring and Mentoring. With more than 25 years dedicated to service in many capacities Chris helps clients to craft a personalized and workable agreement, which may include parenting plans and custody decisions. Every agreement is tailored to individual circumstances and the specific needs of each client. This plays a great role in restoring stability and well-being for clients undergoing the challenging process of civil dispute or divorce. Georgia Mountain Mediation was established in 2024, after rigorous Civil, Domestic and Probate Mediation Training through Kennesaw State University, receiving the knowledge and skills to serve those in need of Mediation. Furthermore Chris has a degree in Cultural Anthropology and Development Sociology from the University of Leiden, The Netherlands, as well as Graduate certificates from the University of Stellenbosh, South Africa, and a certificate in Hospitality and Management from the Florida Atlantic University College of Business. Having lived and worked in several different countries and roles Chris has finally settled into her role as Mediator. A long time coming and a dream come true.
